Now Open: Sofia

When it comes to making female friends, your general attitude is the more the merrier.

Meet your newest gal pal Sofia, the brand new modern Italian restaurant now open in the Warehouse District. A nod to cinema icon Sophia Loren, you'll gawk at feminine-forward visuals like a dramatic chandelier made of broken plates and cutlery, a glass-walled wine room and photographs of the Golden Age of Hollywood throughout. 

The inspired menu ranges from light plates of tuscan kale and wood oven-roasted carrots with puffed faro and pine nuts to mouth-watering, heartier fare like house-made gnocchi with ricotta, brown butter and sage and Gulf shrimp scampi with garlic mousse. Add to that wood-fired pizzas perfected in the red and gold mosaic oven and a knock-out boozy list of house botanical cocktails and a selection of ‘Cellos—infused limoncello with multiple kinds of citrus.
